JALPAIGURI’S SCHOOL TEACHER INVOLVED IN CERTIFICATE FORGERY RACKET

Webdesk, TNI Jalpaiguri, 24th October, 2016: Based on a tip-off a raid was conducted by Jalpaiguri CID team at Aadarpara and Kadamtala areas under Jalpaiguri Kotwali police station. During the raid, the CID seized a number of illegal documents like forged mark sheets, certificates, admit cards of various academic examinations from well known educational boards and Universities etc. Two people were detained by the CID for interrogation. Certificates seized belong to Karnataka State Open University, Annamalai University, Rabindra Bharati University (Directorate of Distance Education), and other Universities. Items seized by the CID are Laptop, Colour Printer, Cutter etc. From the police sources, it is learned that the main accused in the case is Barun Kanti Roy, the owner of the house and a resident of Jalpaiguri’s pandapara. The man is a school teacher of Nathahaat Baniapara Chowrasta High School.
